About Master Tao Huang

Master Tao Huang was born and grew up in Dingxi County in Northwest China. According to a prophesy revealed to his family by a local shaman, Master Huang was destined to be a healer and shaman. In previous incarnations, he was twice a Buddhist and spent two lives as a Native American shaman. During his teenage years he began practicing qigong as a healing technique and healed many of his own physical ailments. Then he discovered Taoism and became interested in many other spiritual disciplines, including Christianity and Buddhism when he searched for a temple where he could pursue Taoism. He was ordained as a Taoist Monk into the 26th lineage of the Dragon Gate School where he received the teachings of the talisman, Yellow Court, inner alchemy and mystic practice. He felt a calling to go to the United States to be able to provide this gift of healing that he was given that he called the Xin Le Qu (also know as Meridian Dance). He emigrated in 1990 to offer the teachings of Laosim and the practices of Taoism. He is also the founder of the Ascending Hall Taoist Temple.

Tao is a master in I Ching. It is rare and extremely honorable that we have access to one so richly steeped in the understanding of this work and how it and we relate to nature as one. One of the most valuable aids to understanding life’s rhythmic processes, with a view to bringing man back into harmony with nature and the nature of themselves. The Book of Changes – I Ching in Chinese – is unquestionably one of the most important books in world literature. It’s origin goes back to mythical antiquity, and it has occupied the attention of the most eminent scholars of China down to the present day. It is known to be one of the oldest books in the world. It has been considered a book of fundamental principles by philosophers, politicians, mystics and alchemists, yogis, diviners, sorcerers, and more recently by scientists and mathematicians.

Master Tao is also the author of many books including The Secret Teachings of the Tao Te Ching co-authored by renowned Taoist master Mantak Chia. Other books include LAOISM: The Complete Teachings of Lao Zi, Spiritual Anatomy, and Angelic Wings, Twin Flames’ Revelation of the Meridian System.
